Call for Papers for the 2017 Southwest Conference on Disability Now Open!

Join us in Albuquerque on October 11-13 during the International Balloon Fiesta for the 2017 Southwest Conference on Disability. The main conference theme, The Intersection of Disability and Other Underserved Populations, focuses attention on people with disabilities who are also members of other underserved populations, including racial, ethnic and cultural minorities; those with a newly-acquired disability; limited English proficiency; members of the LGBQT community; people living in rural areas and others. In addition, the conference is soliciting proposals on

two special emphasis themes: Disability in Native America: Causes, Impacts, Solutions Addressing the Intersections of Adversity and Disability Prenatally and in Early Childhood: Research, Prevention, Intervention and Capacity-Building
