Suquamish Tribe
Exercising jurisdiction since April 10, 2019.
The Port Madison Indian Reservation, home to the Suquamish Tribe, is in the Central Puget Sound Region of Washington State on the Kitsap Peninsula. The reservation is approximately 7,657 acres and has approximately 7100 permanent Native and non-Native residents. The Suquamish Tribe employs a Victim’s Advocate who provides support and resources for victims of crime.
The Suquamish Tribe has not received grant funding from the program authorized in VAWA 2013 to support the exercise of SDVCJ.
