About PRC
The National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) established its Policy Research Center (PRC) in 2003 as a national tribal research and policy center to focus on research and data to support and inform the policy development efforts of tribal leaders, tribal organizations, Congress, the Administration and other policy institutions serving tribal communities. The PRC works under the guidance of a national advisory council to inform public policy debates with meaningful data and to assist in shifting the discourse in Native policy from a problem focused approach to a framework of truly proactive, future-thinking strategy development.
