Eligibility: Indian tribal governments with jurisdiction over Indian Country
Funding may be used for a range of activities, including: strengthening tribal criminal justice systems in exercising special domestic violence criminal jurisdiction; providing indigent criminal defendants with defense counsel; ensuring that jurors are summoned, selected, and instructed in a manner consistent with applicable requirements; and according victim rights to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, and protection order violations.
