Media Advisory: 2016 Executive Council Winter Session
On Monday, February 22, 2016, the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) begins its 2016 Executive Council Winter Session (ECWS) at 9:00 AM EST.
Held at the Capital Hilton in Washington, DC, the 2016 Executive Council Winter Session will tackle key issues facing American Indian and Alaska Native communities and provide tactical solutions primarily through legislative and policy planning.
Press credentialing takes place Monday, February 22, 2016 from 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST. Credentialed press have access to all plenary sessions, as well as those sessions noted for press access on the agenda. The application for press credentials can be downloaded here and sent to ncaipress@ncai.org.
Please note that press are required to wear press badges at all times and are asked to please announce yourself to the moderator of each session you plan on attending.
The three-day event features leading experts in tribal legislation, climate change, tax, health, education, and more, with more than 20 speakers from the White House, government agencies, and Congress, including:
