About the Event:
This livestream webinar event will cover the latest updates in Native Vote and Indian Country Counts census efforts. The event will feature guests Rio Fernandes from the National Urban Indian Family Coalition and Karishma Shah from the National Conference on Citizenship. We will hear about their efforts to assist tribal nations and hard-to-count communities by providing resources to complete the count ands elevating community voices through their work in civic engagement. NCAI’s Civic Engagement team will also provide the latest updates on 2020 Census operations and how to adjust census outreach efforts given COVID-19.
