The Impact Days’ Tribal Leader Briefing is a great opportunity to hear from members of Congress regarding the work they are doing for Indian Country and for tribal leaders to advocate for tribal priorities on Capitol Hill.

Check-in for this event will begin at 8:30 a.m. The event will start at 9:00 a.m. and tentatively end at 1:00 p.m.

Violence Against Women Act 25th Anniversary Reception

NCAI and the National Indian Gaming Association will be co-hosting a reception in recognition of the 25th anniversary of the passage of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).

Twenty-Five Years of VAWA: Honoring our Native Women Survivors

House Triangle at the U.S. Capitol (Outside of the Capitol at the southeast corner of the Capitol grounds near the Capitol Visitors Center. You do not need to enter the building or go through security.)

NCAI and the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center will co-host this event on the Capitol grounds to honor Native women survivors of violence. House Native American Caucus Co-Chairs, Deb Haaland and Tom Cole will attend this event.
