About the Event:

The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR) is hosting the Northwest Intertribal Agriculture Council Conference, September 10th and 11th, 2018, at the Tamastslikt Cultural Institute, 47106 Wildhorse Blvd, Pendleton, Oregon.  

The conference begins at 9:00 a.m. September 10th.  Registration is FREE and will be held onsite that day.  Pre-registration is not required.  

Several key speakers will provide information on a variety of subjects including: Tribal Youth 4-H Club Success Stories, Drought/Climate Change/ Snow Survey, IAC, FRTEP and KeepsEagle updates, Invasive and Toxic weeds presentations and much more. The afternoon session on the 11th will include presentations from the National Tribal Horse Coalition and the Grand Ronde Native Plant Project.

We encourage those attending to make reservations at the Wild Horse Resort, 800-654-9453, as soon as possible. A block of rooms have been reserved for September 9-11 (checking out the 11th). When making reservations, refer to the INTERTRIBAL AGRICULTURE COUNCIL (IAC) CONFERENCE to secure the group rate of $93.00 (plus 9%tax) per night. . Reservation has to be made no later than MONDAY - SEPTEMBER 3, 2018.
