TRIBAL LEADER/SCHOLAR FORUM

Sovereign Infrastructure:
Building Our Communities through Our Values

Theme: As we return to the Eastern Region – one of the earliest places of contact – we reflect on the strength and vision it takes to live our values in the face of change and to construct our communities in ways that reflect who we are as peoples. A driving question for this year’s Forum is:

What investments in the built environment, workforce, systems, and networks enable tribal nations to thrive?
How can we use research and data to construct value-based communities and organizations that support the exercise of sovereignty?

We aim to construct a space that fosters the open exchange of ideas and collaborative learning by designing the Forum around breakout dialogues and working sessions. We hope to challenge ourselves, our presenters, and our participants to think beyond the podium to interactive roundtable discussions. Each session will be focused around core questions for panelists and participants to address together.

The Forum will also feature a Poster Session highlighting student research.

Click here for more information on our Tribal Leader/Scholar Forum.
