Tribal Leader Briefing Book
To assist tribal leaders to prepare for this important nation-to-nation summit, we will prepare a briefing book covering overarching issues and the key issues to be discussed in each breakout. Hard copies will be available at the Tribal Leader Preparatory Meeting on November 4, 2015.

President Obama announced that he would host his seventh annual summit with tribal leaders on November 5, 2015 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center.

Tready Awareness Rally

People of the Three Fires, (Odawa, Ojibwe, and Potawatomi) have begun the Treaty Awareness Walk to DC 2015, ending with a planned rally at the Lincoln Memorial on Friday, November 6 at 9:00am. The Treaty Awareness walk began as a way to unite the People of the Three Fires to have a more powerful voice when dealing with issues the State of Michigan has raised on our ceded territory in the Eastern UP, dealing with treaty rights and the protection of water.
