Connecting American Indian and Federal Libraries: Native American Reserach and Resources at the Library of Congress.

9:00am - FEDLINK: American Indian Library Initiative (AILI)
Now entering its second year, AILI is a standing working group on American Indian Libraries continues its efforts to identify and establish networks of federal efforts of value to American Indian Libraries including preservation, digitization, cataloging, reference services; integrate event and training opportunities on core information services; and promote access to existing federal resources in legal and STEM knowledge collections.
12:00 - Kluge Center: American Indians in Federal City and Regional History
A panel of historians and cultural experts discussing federal and regional American Indian history and culture:

2:00 - The Law Library: Indigenous Tribal Law Portal
Description of the free, online resource created to make tribal law more accessible and findable by providing comprehensive listings of tribes, tribal websites, and online primary source materials.

Participants are invited to review a table-top display exhibit in the West Dining Room of federal agencies and selected LC collection materials featured in these programs.
