At the luncheon, the National Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (NOFAS) will present the Excellence Award to Congressman Tom Cole at this Pre-Gala VIP Luncheon. September 17th: The 2015 NOFAS International Gala being held at the Embassy of France at 6:30pm.
Join friends and sponsors (including the Mohegan Tribe, CIRI, NACA, Chugach Alaska Corporation, Alaska Federation of Natives, Ietan Consulting, North Star Group and Hobbs, Straus, Dean & Walker) taking a stand and addressing Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) in tribal communities and globally by supporting the National Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (NOFAS). The Gala will honor Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski, Oklahoma Congressman Tom Cole and Dr. William Kennedy Smith for their outstanding efforts to raise awareness about the risks associated with prenatal alcohol exposure and to provide support and resources for children, adults, families and communities living with FASD. Gala proceeds benefit NOFAS programming and new initiatives in tribal communities and globally. The evening will begin with a cocktail reception, silent auction, short program of awards and live auction to close out the evening.
