On March 7, 2015, Indian tribes will have the general authority to implement criminal jurisdiction over non-Indians who violate protective orders or commit domestic violence or dating violence against Indian victims on tribal lands. Please join NCAI for a webinar focused on implementation of special domestic violence criminal jurisdiction.

This webinar will showcase the three Violence Against Women Act pilot tribes by examining their overall implementation experiences, as well as “lessons learned” and advice for other tribes that are considering or actively working toward exercising this jurisdiction. The webinar will also highlight additional implementation resources and tools.
