About the Event:

The Arizona Commission of Indian Affairs (ACIA), in partnership with the Arizona State Senate, invite you to participate in the 18th Annual Indian Nations and Tribes Legislative Day (INTLD) to be held on Tuesday, February 5th, 2013.
 
The purpose of this day is to not only celebrate the rich culture and history of Arizona’s Tribes and Nations but also to address legislative and policy issues. The ACIA is committed to improving relationships between Arizona’s Tribes and Nations and the State of Arizona to improve the quality of life for citizens therein.
 
Beginning with a joint protocol session held in the Senate, featured speakers are planning to focus on the benefits of collaboration and coordination. During the catered lunch hour, guests will have the opportunity to visit with various state agencies and companies who specialize in various areas of economic and community development. The event concludes with an “Tribal Community Manager Forum” in the Capitol Museum Senate room at 1:30 p.m.
