The CDC website has accurate and easy to understand information on the COVID-19 vaccines and should be considered your primary source for information. Social media and some news outlets may have incorrect information. 

 

Maps and Other State/County Resources for COVID-19 Cases and Deaths:

New York Times Coronavirus in the US - Latest Map and Case Counts

The New York Times updates maps daily on COVID-19 cases and deaths in the US and for states, with a section on states where cases are increasing, the same, or decreasing and a map with "hot spots."

Washington Post Coronavirus Maps

The Washington Post US map provides detail on COVID-19 cases and deaths for states and counties. The map allows you to view raw numbers vs. adjusted for population numbers, which is a more accurate way to compare trends among states and counties.

CNN 411 - Coronavirus Resource

You can type in your zip code to see local, county, and state information, including status of openings in states, and links to state websites. 

Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center Map

This map has world and US national, state, and county data.  

CDC Cases in the US Map

This map provides COVID-19 case counts nationally and for states along with an interactive map.

NIHB Tribal Data Project

The National Indian Health Board  compiles publicly available from states and IHS in a collection of tables, graphs, and maps.

New York Times - See How All States are Reopening Map

This map shows reopening activities by state and shows COVID-19 case trends relative to the date of reopening.
