\n The 36 th \;Annual National Tribal Health Conferen ce \;will take place in Temecula\, California\, September 16-19\ , 2019. National Tribal Health Conference \;(NTHC) is the larges t American Indian and Alaska Native specific gathering each year focused sp ecifically on health. The conference focuses on exploring health policy and its impact on Tribes\, advancing Tribal capacity to expand own policy work \, and policy and political work in the arenas of health care\, public\, be havioral\, and environmental health. \;

\n The conferen ce features multiple tracks of concurrent breakout sessions\, as well as ge neral plenary sessions that feature nationally recognized guest speakers an d elected and appointed governmental officials. Two critical components of the \;National Tribal Health Conference&n bsp\;program are the listening and government consultation sessions that ar e free to the public and offered on pre- or post-conference days. \;

\n The conference is hosted and planned annually by the Natio nal Indian Health Board\, as well as local member organizations or Tribes. The 2019 \;National Tribal Health Conference \;(NTHC) is being hosted locally by the California Rural Indian Hea lth Board.
