  (SGCETC)\, Department of the Interior (DOI) and the Indian Health Service 
 (IHS) will host the 2017 Tribal Self-Governance Annual Consultation Confere
 nce April 23-27\, 2017. This year’s theme “Progressive Partnerships:  Inves
 ting in Tribal Nation Building” embodies Self-Governance tenants and goals 
 to be well represented in the family of governments and to continue to enha
 nce Tribal governments and economies. The 2017 Annual Consultation Conferen
 ce will provide numerous opportunities for Tribes to gather information\, b
 est practices\, weigh in on priorities and meet with federal partners to ad
 vance longstanding partnerships. Interested\, new\, and well-practiced Self
 -Governance Tribes\, Federal partners\, and other Tribal organizations are 
 invited to attend the conference to participate in national discussion\, to
  share best practices and to network with Self-Governance Tribal leaders\, 
 coordinators\, and experts.
