 ;">. The Gala dinner will be held during American Indian and Alaska Native 
 Heritage Month and celebrates the NMAI's first two decades in New York City
 .</span></p>\n<p><strong>Honoring</strong> | The Gala will launch the inaug
 ural NMAI Award\, which recognizes Native Americans who have excelled in th
 eir professional sectors and demonstrated exceptional commitment to Indian 
 Country. Honorees are Patricia Michaels (Taos Pueblo)\, Arts &amp\; Design 
 Award\, and Randall L. Willis (Oglala Lakota)\, Business Award. The Gala al
 so acknowledges the Founding Board Members of the NMAI in New York.</p>\n<p

 m>Glittering World</em>\, a signature exhibition presenting 300 pieces of s
 tunning Navajo jewelry created by the acclaimed Yazzie family of jewelry de
