The President's Early Education proposal supports Native American families with a birth through age five continuum of learning that starts wi th home visiting and Early Head Start-Child Care Partnerships at HHS and th en is followed by preschool for all 4-year olds at ED. We are looking to yo u\, in shaping this program so that it is culturally\, linguistically\, and developmentally appropriate for your children.

Th e American Indian Vocational Rehabilitation Services (AIVRS) have published a request for information (RFI) for input on a proposed definition of the Department's interpretation of "\;reservation"\; that would align i t with the Government Accounting Office (GAO) interpretation.

The Title VII Formula Program gathers information through the El ectronic Application System for Indian Education (EASIE) that includes stud ent counts and applications. During the 2012-2013 grant cycles\, some initi al enhancements were made to the program\, and additional work is planned f or the 2013-2014 grant year. This will also include a revamp of the ED 506 form for eligibility.  \;We are asking for comments on the draft form o f this document.
