MOTE LISTENING SESSIONS\n \n WASHINGTON &ndash\; The Presidential Task Force on Mis
sing and Murdered American Indians and Alaska Natives announced four listen
ing sessions to be conducted by teleconference in May and June. \; In r
esponse to the COVID-19 health emergency\, previously scheduled in-person s
essions have been postponed and will be rescheduled as soon as it is safe t
o do so. \n \n

ed Native Americans &ldquo\;sobering and heartbreaking.&rdquo\; \; The
task force\, designated Operation Lady Justice\, has been empowered to revi
ew Indian Country cold cases\, to strengthen law enforcement protocols\, an
d work with tribes to improve investigations\, information sharing and a mo
re seamless response to missing persons investigations. \n
